In markets experiencing downward trends, Short Selling is always the ideal method of trade. However, with the strong uptrend since Mar this year, many will be wondering whether there will be opportunities for short selling.
Oblivious to most, many profitable short selling trades occur during a strong bull market. When stocks run up too fast, they present opportunities to take advantage of during their eventual collapse. These are often furious but extremely lucrative.
Two approaches to short-selling will be taught in the workshop – exploiting climax tops and riding a declining market. Six core set-up strategies will be covered. These are “Climax Tops”, Fooling the Gaps”, “Turnaround”, “Mast and Deck”, “Exploiting the Short Squeeze”and “Lap Down”.
Gap analysis will also be taught so that participants can better read their subtle signals. Used to full advantage, gap analysis can enable a trader to easily recognise the weaknesses that exist in a stock and position himself to take timely trade action.
In combination, these short-selling techniques position a trader for increased gains in both up and down markets.
